Fox is TWO

It was so much fun to have family and friends over to celebrate Fox's birthday. He thought the cake was pretty great and really liked the Thomas and Friends decorations. His dreams came true when he opened several gifts with different sizes and varieties of Thomas trains.

We'd heard rumors of terrible two's, but Fox is a great boy. It was a blessed day, and we are blessed to have him.

August Good Times

1. Fox got a sandbox. He loves to "play dirty." I bought him a small table-top sandbox because I didn't want to hassle with a huge box that could become the neighborhood litter box for cats. Someday he will outgrow the small box, but until then, this is working great.

2. Fox likes to line-up all things: trains, cars, trucks, and even earplugs. They're unused, so it's not gross, but it's still a little strange. He gets hyper focused when getting them into rows.

3. Fox likes sandwiches, especially Nathan's sandwiches. Usually he just picks at the bread.

4. Dancing outside.

Backyard Boys

Our back yard got started in June. We watered through one of the hotter summers in years. After a lot of hard work, it's looking pretty good. We love spending time back there.
