Jam Jam Jam

Mom and I had a great time making freezer jam, both strawberry and raspberry. Nathan leaves peanut butter and jam at work and makes sandwiches for his lunch. He took a tub of freezer jam not knowing exactly what to expect. He fell in love. He says “I Love Freezer Jam”. It has a lot of sugar so I assume that has something to do with it.

Fouth of July

We had a great 4th of July weekend. After I got off work Nathan and I went to Nicole's for a BBQ...Great food, burgers, salads, chips, and desserts. Good times Becky and her girls were there and provided the entertainment. Katie had fun spitting cherry pits over the side of the deck, squirting the water gun, and going up and down the stairs. Nathan and I played Frisbee and helped keep Katie from being board. After Becky and the girls left to go watch the fireworks we broke out a fun game called Qwelf. It requires you to do very hilarious things; you wonder where they come up with these ideas. We figure the creators were sitting around with some “silly salad” playing double dare and decided to make it into an actual game and get a bunch of money for it. Some crazy things include turning one item of clothing inside-out, wearing your belt as a ninja headband, or putting the game box under your shirt (see blurry photo of Nathan).
